Right click on the screenshot and select Copy. If you need to copy a screenshot after you first take it, locate the screenshot, right click it, and select Copy. You can then paste the screenshot into a document, email, or photo editor. In order to copy and paste screen, the keyboard of your PC can actually be used. To take a screenshot of the entire screen using the keyboard, simply press 'Prnt Scr (Print Screen)' key. This will copy the image of the entire screen on the clipboard giving users an image giving an illustration of the screen.

How to paste screenshot into Notepad?

Hi all, does anyone know how to take a screenshot of Text and get it into Notepad?
Not paint or word; I need it to be put into Notepad (but could go through another format on it's way there)
Any programs available (preferably free), or ways to do this?

stop being lazy. Highlight the text you want, CRTL-C then in notepad CTRL-V

The text is on a format that can't be highlighted/copied, hence the need for a screenshot.

I believe notepad doesn't support images, unlike Wordpad.

You can have the raw name of the pic posted in Notepad, but you can not actually have an actual picture in it, the only thing I suggest you do put the screenshot next to the Notepad and start typing away.

Yeah, but it's an enormous amount to type, and would defeat the purpose. I was hoping someone knew of a program that converts the text in a screenshot back into text that can be put into Notepad for editing. How to screenshot a page on windows 10. I've googled a bunch of word combinations, but can't find anything yet. Thanks for any help guys!

The answer is..

He obviously needs OCR to extract text from an image.

I'll let Wikipedia take over now..
